Trade show report: Delta Protection impress in Toronto with its roof safety railing.

Event

Fall protection and roof safety is increasingly concerning in every industry. Because of regular maintenance on numerous HVAC units, lighting and security equipment or to support new energy sources, visits on the rooftop of your building are frequent…and dangerous.

Ontario is rich with commercial and industrial buildings. That’s why Delta Prevention was proud the shows its roof safety railing in Toronto twice in the last weeks. Roof safety is our goal and our passion. Let’s share it.

Rooftech 2017

The premier event of the Canadian Roofing Contractor Association, Rooftech 2017 is the gathering place of contractors and suppliers in the dynamic roofing industry. Working at height naturally creates fall safety issues; that’s why Delta Prevention was proud to exhibit its roof safety railing to visitors and exhibitors from the Toronto area.

Permanent Use

Roof repair and replacement is often followed by the installation of roof safety railing. Architects and engineers alike favour this fall protection method because it’s non-penetrating, easy to retrofit on existing buildings and does not require additional certification. Therefore, roofers and general contractors will install more of more freestanding guardrails in the upcoming years.

Temporary Use

There is a growing interest from contractors in owning or renting non-penetrating guardrail kit for temporary use. That’s not surprising when we understand the many advantages compared to traditional methods. Contractors can expect thousand dollar savings from faster installation time and from the annual cost of wood normally used to create unsafe temporary guardrails.
