The VSS SafetyLine is a bump line used to delimit a visual safety perimeter between work areas at height. The VSS SafetyLine is 100 % compliant with provincial standards and OSHA permanent warning line standards.
A permanent warning line is a safety device used in various sectors to delimit hazardous areas and alert individuals to potential risks. It usually consists of a visible barrier, indicating a boundary beyond which people must exercise caution or follow specific safety protocols.
Bump lines and warning barriers are installed to prevent falls by alerting workers to fall hazards. The fall protection standards require companies to set up bump lines around the work surface at least 6 feet 6 inches (2 metres) from unprotected edges.
Our roof fall protection products are certified by an independent engineering firm and meet NBC and OSHA standards.
With our patented recycled rubber counterweight base and aluminum components, our system offers ultimate resistance to rust and deterioration.
Our eco-responsible products are 100% designed and manufactured in Canada.
Peace of mind thanks to the best warranty on the market.
Obviously, your needs will change over time. That’s why we’ve developed a warning line system that can easily be converted to a roof guardrail with 100 % shared components. By replacing steel cables with our traditional aluminum tubes, we are transforming visual protection into complete fall protection for a fraction of the cost!
By converting the simple visual indication into a physical barrier, the protection of workers and visitors is reinforced. This adaptation improves the effectiveness of safety measures by creating a tangible boundary between safe and potentially dangerous areas, contributing to a safer, more reliable working environment.
In this configuration, the VSS SafetyLine has one base per vertical post. The posts at the corners and at the ends of the bump line must have two bases. The maximum spacing between two posts of the bump line is 8′ and two yellow nylon flags are supplied per 8′ section of cable. This is the configuration of the bump line according to the RSST.
In this configuration, the VSS SafetyLine must have one base per vertical post and the maximum spacing between two posts is 25′. This is the configuration of the bump line according to the OSHA (The Occupational Safety and Health Administration of United States Department of Labor).
To eliminate rust, inevitable with a steel base, or the risk of breakage of a concrete base, our warning line systems use an eco-friendly and patented recycled rubber base. Extremely resistant to shock and temperature changes, these 50 lb bases provide maximum grip on all types of flat roofs.
Maintaining the integrity of the waterproof membrane is essential to protect the building envelope. That’s why the VSS SafetyLine warning line system is freestanding: its base acts as a counterweight, enabling it to comply with the permanent warning line standards.
A permanent fall protection solution that ensures safety for all users without PPE or annual certification. Permanent warning lines help to improve overall safety by providing a clear visual indication of potential hazards and encouraging people to be aware of their surroundings and follow established safety procedures.
